We have a plethora of live streams this month and three of them have never been broadcast before!
First, our 2016 production of "Les Indes Galantes" from the Bayerische Staatsoper is already available to watch on OperaVision! You can catch it there.
Second, a new production of "Die Entführung aus dem Serail" will be broadcast live on Wiener Staatsoper's channel! This is my debut here in Vienna and Konstanze is about to be my second most performed role and this will be the first-ever broadcast of me performing it! 😱
Third, San Francisco Opera will be broadcasting our 2015 production of "Le Nozze di Figaro!" This is my second most performed role and there are no videos of me performing it. This production was simulcast at the AT&T Stadium for "Opera in the ballpark", but was never released! I haven't sung Susanna since 2016, so I will have to hold back my tears as I watch it. 😭
Finally, my debut performance of "La travaita" from exactly 5 years ago will be broadcast by Opera Philadelphia's brand new channel! This performance was also broadcast in Independence Hall in 2015 in Philadelphia but was never released, so this will also be the first time that my performance of Violetta will be broadcast online in its entirety. I am looking forward to it!
