Summer NewsletterGlyndebourne, Paris, and more!  Happy summer to all! It’s been an incredible couple of months since my stay in Amsterdam this past spring. Our new production of RIGOLETTO was a success and I want to thank everyone who was involved and who came to the show. Last week, I had the privilege to sing two performances of RIGOLETTO at the Opéra National de Paris, marking my debut at the Bastille. It was a spectacular whirlwind of nights that only comes true in this world of opera, and I am still on cloud nine from the experience! This summer I’m at Glyndebourne, singing Norina in DON PASQUALE. It’s a role debut for me as well as my first appearance at this incredible theatre. 14 performances of that to get us through the heat of summer. Come join us! |

ReflectionsThere is no way to predict the future, so all we can do is live in the present. If there’s anything this past month has taught me, it’s that I have no control except over my level of preparation. If there’s an opportunity, I’m grateful for it and I do my best for it. But those special shots in the dark are few and far between and totally unpredictable. What to do in the meantime? Prepare and take it one day at a time, living in the absolute present. Peace out! |
