Lisette Oropesa leading a SongStudio master class at Carnegie Hall

Carnegie Hall Releases Lisette's SongStudio Master Classes

Carnegie Hall has published three films from the master class Lisette led on January 12 as part of SongStudio, the hall's annual workshop for emerging vocalists and collaborative pianists, curated by Artistic Director Anthony Roth Costanzo. Filmed in the Resnick Education Wing before a public audience, the sessions capture Lisette digging into three very different corners of the song repertoire, one duo at a time:

These three join every masterclass Lisette has taught that is available on video, collected in the Masterclass playlist on her YouTube channel.

The timing could hardly be better: teaching is exactly where Lisette is right now. Fresh from her Norma debut in Savonlinna, she is spending this week in Campobasso, in Italy's Molise region, giving masterclasses with Presto Arts and the Molise Vocal Academy.

"It's always a pleasure to dig deep into the music, the art, and the work that it takes to make this artform continue to thrive."

From Campobasso, Lisette heads straight to the Arena di Verona, where she sings her first performances of Liù in Puccini's Turandot beginning August 14.
