Founded in 1873, the annual May Festival is the oldest, and one of the most prestigious, choral festivals in the Western Hemisphere. The annual festival boasts the May Festival Chorus and Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra as anchors, hosts an international array of guest artists and presents two spectacular weekends of dynamic programming.

This all-Mozart evening features seminal works by this celebrated composer, including a favorite of audiences the world over: Exsultate, jubilate (“Exult, rejoice”) with its exuberant “Alleluia.” Mozart’s “Great” Mass in C Minor closes the program with drama and expressiveness—this masterwork is packed with mighty choruses, ornate solos, and magnificent orchestral sonorities.
