MONC National Advisor Lisette Oropesa has not only continued to sing starring roles throughout Europe in 2020, but has also become a champion for young singers. When Oropesa hosted the 2020 Grand Finals Concert, she made a $25,000 donation which enabled an increase to the Winner and Finalist prizes making them the highest in MONC’s history. In light of the pandemic cancelling many valuable summer opportunities for young singers, she created an online masterclass series to provide safe and accessible training and career consultation.
