I Capuleti e i Montecchi

Lisette returns to the Gran Teatre del Liceu as Giulietta in Bellini's I Capuleti e i Montecchi, opposite Italian mezzo-soprano Raffaella Lupinacci as Romeo and Peruvian tenor Iván Ayón-Rivas as Tebaldo. Riccardo Frizza conducts.

The production, by Sir Adrian Noble, was originally created for Teatro alla Scala in Milan. Designed by Tobias Hoheisel with costumes by Petra Reinhardt, lighting by Jean Kalman and Marco Filibeck, and choreography by Joanne Pearce, the staging arrives in Barcelona for its Liceu premiere. The Chorus and Orchestra of the Gran Teatre del Liceu (chorus master Pablo Assante) perform under Frizza's baton.

Five performances run October 30 through November 11, 2026, with a digital broadcast on the Liceu's LiceuOPERA+ streaming platform on November 22.
