To close the events organized by the Ravello Foundation for this 2021, the Santo Stefano Concert (Sunday 26 December, 6.30 pm) which will see the debut in Ravello of Lisette Oropesa, one of the most important sopranos of today, acclaimed on the stages of the largest theaters of the world, from the Metropolitan to Covent Garden, from the Paris Opera to that of Vienna, fresh from success at the Teatro alla Scala where, after having sung in the opening show of the 2020-21 season and where he is preparing to return for the I Capuleti e I Montecchi, played Theodora, the protagonist of Georg Friedrich Händel's oratorio. Oropesa, who during the lockdown, when the life and career of many young musicians had stopped, has become a teacher on the social media of a community that reached over 7000 students from all over the world, will be accompanied, in view of the collaboration of the Foundation with the best musical expressions of the Region, by the Nuova Scarlatti Orchestra conducted by Fabrizio Maria Carminati. Refined and popular program the one chosen for the goodbye in 2021: in the lineup some of the most famous arias by Rossini and Puccini, Gounod, Verdi and Meyerbeer.

Tre bis e tanti applausi per uno dei più importanti soprani di oggi, acclamata sui palcoscenici dei più grandi teatri del mondo.
