Winning the George London prize in 2008 was a great honor, and to perform in the foundation's renowned recital series is a great opportunity for which I am thankful.  I am very excited to be collaborating with pianist Ken Noda; it has been a dream of mine since I joined the Met's young artist program!  I will be singing a joint recital with fabulous baritone Brian Mulligan.  My half of the program will include songs by Bizet, and arias by Bellini and Mozart.  Brian and I will also perform the Lucia-Enrico duet.

I am proud to announce that I will be singing the role of Gilda in Rigoletto at the Metropolitan Opera. This will be a new production based in 1960's Las Vegas.

Michael Mayer’s bold new production locates Verdi’s tragedy of lust, betrayal, and revenge in Las Vegas in 1960. George Gadnidze sings the title role and Lisette Oropesa is his beautiful daughter, who falls under the spell of Vittorio Grigolo's womanizing Duke.
